I grew up in a house that loved music, from Carnatic to Jazz . My journey in music began at a young age when I was introduced to Carnatic music, a traditional form of Indian Classical Music, it captivated me effortlessly and I found immense joy knowing that my voice had the ability to bring happiness to countless individuals. Over the years I have come to love Jazz , Pop , The Blues and Rap.Through my participation in school choirs (as a mezzo-soprano) from a young age, I found that music serves to connect and bring the most creative and unique individuals together to create a rich tapestry of melodies and rhythms that speak to the soul.

The stage holds a special place in my heart, the energy of performing exhilarates me. The very prospect of a show be it a Musical or a Live Performance before an audience fills me with anticipation and joy. Once I step onto the stage, a remarkable transformation occurs. I am no longer myself, but rather the embodiment of the character I portray. Theatre gives me the unique opportunity to assume a different persona, one that I can craft and shape according to the guidance of the director. Throughout the years, I have had the privilege of participating in numerous productions, and I have had the honor of taking on lead roles in some of them. Among the various types of theatrical productions, musicals hold a particularly special place in my heart. They offer me the chance to combine my love for acting with my passion for singing. In these productions, I am able to immerse myself in the world of the characters, expressing their emotions through both spoken word and melodic harmony. The fusion of acting and singing within a musical setting allows me to fully explore and showcase my artistic abilities.

Over the years, I have participated in numerous theatre productions, whether it be the yearly school productions or smaller ones we did in drama class
The first production I was ever in was my school's production of “Fiddler on the Roof” where I played the youngest sister - Bielke - when I was in the 6th grade.
The second musical I was in was “Shrek the Musical” and I played the role of young Fiona - the younger interpretation of the female lead character. I was in the 7th grade and I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this musical because of all the wonderful songs and cast/crew members.
The third and most recent musical production I’ve been (2022) in was “Shrek the Musical”, again, but this time it was in my new school in Hong Kong. I was awarded the role of Princess Fiona (the female lead). Being in the 11th grade and in the IBDP, I had to learn to balance studies with my activities, but it was a very memorable experience that fostered a sense of community, camaraderie and created memories I will cherish .
